First timer - her goes!

My 3 1/2 year old goes to little village school where choice of friends is minimal. But she has latched on to a girl that is not very nice to her - not sure what to do? Only 10 children in her year and she seems to gravitate towards this child even though the girl tells her she doesn't want to play with her, pushes her,and tells her she isn't her friend???? Yet my d still goes to her all the time?? My D then reacts badly (she has firey temper) and will have tantrums at school/crys a lot.Help!

I'm guessing that this child is a little older than your DD and attractive in some way so she wants to be friends.
Can you organise a playdate or two with some children who would be more appropriate choices?
Invite a child or two to your house to play. (Separately so that she gets to know each of them.) Hopefully this will encourage her to notice and play with other members of her class.
It will also help you to make some mummy friends too.
