Does anyone know if orchard Toys, or anyone else, make simple lotto games like rd,bd but with shapes and numbers? Am thinking chunky pieces and bright colours suitable for a 2 1/2 year-old whose mum is heartily fed-up of the above!!

my DCs used to like Insey Winsey Spider when they were tiny.

We have this in nursery too, which a lot of them like.

My DCs' all time favourite card game is Whot, which is really pitched at older children, but my fearsomely competitive DS2 learned how to play it when he was 3, so you could give it a whirl Grin

IAmRubyLennox - how rude of me for not thanking you for your suggestions; we still play RD,BD at least once a day, but have graduated onto Incey wincey spider (could have been made so much better IMO); unfortunately the links that you provided did not work but no matter as we have progressed to "Alphabet soundtracks". Lucky lucky me.
