HOORAY - but question on FT place & fees?

We are delighted DD has been offered a place at a highly regarded nursery very close to our home & easy for DP to drop her off enroute to work! HOORAY!!!!

She will be 3 in November and will start nursery in January. They have offered DD a full time place only - which is fine with us. It is a local borough nursery & I know everyone gets funding for 15 hours per week. They didn't mention any fees in the offer letter - should I be expecting to pay any?

Give them a call and ask. It is hard to know otherwise as they are all different, you'd hope that if there were any they'd mention them but oversights happen.

Yes you should expect to pay fees. Do they not detail fees at all anywhere? They may not even subscribe to the free 15hr scheme.

Some places deduct the 15hr funding from your full time fees, other places charge you just for the remain hours. Also remember the free 15hrs is term time only.

thanks everyone. Its a council nursery not private so we'll def get the 15 hours, & I'll ask them now about fees.
