A great nursery in Streatham Hill

Hi Everyone,

We're about to move overseas, so I just thought I'd share a quick recommendation before we leave at the end of the month.

My daughter has been in Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery on Ritherdon Road (opp Tooting Bec Common) P/T since it opened in January this year, and it's absolutely brilliant. The nursery was brand new in Jan, and all toys and rooms were remodeled and stocked new at that time. The rooms are large, clean and bright; there is a large garden play space for the children; a seperate sleep room for the wee ones, and technology room for the older kids.

The staff are brilliant, they actually welcome you with a smile (so simple, yet lacking in so many places), are affectionate with the children, and take an interest in them. You are shown a booklet at the end of each day which is a record of your childs activities, feeding, nappy changes etc... and they're always happy to discuss anything that bothers you. ALSO - and was important for me, they're flexible. If you want extra days, less days, help - they'll try to accomodate.

I could go on, but will just say that if you haven't checked it out, you should. The managers name is Nazia and she's always keen to show new parents around.

Hope this helps when you're nursery hunting!!

Sorry i would completely disagree, i recently went to visit and found a complete lack of equipment, the place was dirty and unloved. I got out of there very quickly, wouldnt even consider sending my LO there
