Would this be an odd gift for a nursery- or do you think they would like it?

DD finishes her nursery next week, after 2 and a half years. They are wonderful. I will cry. Dd is quite a challenge, very independent, and they really get her. They have been especially good over the last few months, as i lost my job.
Anyway- DD loves gardening, they do a lot of it and have a small garden plot at the front (it is a converted house).
dd's nickname at nursery is Millie hedgehog- so would it be naff to get them a hedgehog planter for the garden? Or should i stick to chocolates?

Thanks - i have been over thinking this for ages- (i am not one for presents for teachers usually, but they have looked after her 3 days a week since she was a baby).
i am such a hormonal wreck! (and she isn't even a pfb- she is number 2!!).
