Might - so they are not sure?

Less-well-defended - so why not defend them better… maybe they could use the same AI to defend against someone using the AI?

Preppers can barter skills, tools/equipment, and what is in their stores.

Fiat currency only means something because the govt forces you to pay tax with it. If govt breaks down, those pocket-sized portraits of Charlie and Lizzie ain't gonna be worth the polymer they are printed on.

Withdrawing lots of cash isn't safe either. One you need to hide it. Two you need to remember where you hid it!

Everytime I go to the coast I change up a few £20's for £1 coins. I find I either need the odd £1 for a shopig trolly or£45 for a takeaway. They are only places I need cash.

Try to get some small change I think. Or get a piggy bank and put all your loose change I after spending notes. But how much small change? It's impossible to be prepared fir every thing. I have about a weeks worth of cash for for and petrol and various change in my many, many handbags.

Bartering works when the person whose services you want, wants in return what you have to offer and you can agree an equal value. Cash is a transaction that bridges the gap.
