Hi,

For quite a while before covid there was a couple of long running posts.

I haven't seen anything about this virus in India which seems on a similar trajectory. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are?

I've seen reports that it's going to be the next pandemic and also that it's a flash in the pan. Mumsnet preppers had covid to rights months before lockdown so, i'm seeking opinions now.

It's transmitted via touch so should be relatively easy to contain. If you wanted to stock up a little bit on antiviral surface cleaners that might be sensible but I can't see that it would be hugely transmisaible in the developed world unless it cross mixed with another virus which is relatively unlikely.

It is something to be aware about, but the spread method is different to C19, so at the moment you as an individual may not be at risk.
