Apparently there is going g to be a geophysical event in 2027 and the next Ice age cometh. Apart from stockpiling wood for the log burner and buying some cast iron pans to heat up the baked beans, what would you prep?

Evidence for abrupt climate change is readily apparent in ice cores taken from Greenland and Antarctica.

Right now I’d like a dip in temperature 😁

First and foremost, I'd be consulting my Canadian friend, who thought that British attempts at snowing (and our way of dealing with it) were pathetic 😁

Hats, gloves, wellies, waterproofs and wearing so many layers that I feel like an onion is my usual look during snowy weather. If it's really cold, my hi-vis insulated jacket ventures out.

After that, I'd be really glad that I can shear sheep and knit. I just need to work out how to spin wool so that it is a consistent ply! Oh, and I'd stock up on knitting patterns, because nobody wants to do plain jumpers every day!

Then I shall purchase skiing things, because I live in a hilly area (it's just a shame about the lack of ski lifts!), and exercising is a good way to keep warm.

Erm... I'd buy tinned food, like corned beef. Corned beef hash is my go-to when I am feeling poor!

I have a friend in Ontario and she says it gets so cold that the moisture in your eyeballs freeze if you’re outside too long (we’re talking minutes and not tens of minutes) without the proper protection.

I’d like to think that all I’d need is a duvet, a log burner and the entire New York Library of books to burn aka The Day After Tomorrow. I could heath tons of soup up on the log burner too. Winning.
