North Wales so digging out the candles, matches, etc. again. Just had four days without water. They're due to replace fence panels from the last storm, starting tomorrow. Doncha just love winter.

Who knew the storm namers were Lord of the Rings fans! Excellent bit of storm labelling.

Sorry, don’t mean to minimise the troubles of those who the storm might batter….

Put away everything that might move.
Cool box with ice packs and a bottle of milk in.
Bread, milk, food you can eat without heating up.
Charge up devices and power banks.
Make yourself flasks of hot water .
Don't sleep under a chimney.

Hanging baskets in, packed away most of the bird feeders (left two out), paint tins in the garden storage to stop it going walkabout and tied the dodgy bin lid down.

Power banks charged but need to nip downstairs to charge some lights. I’ll go do that now.
