If we do have to live without fresh food top ups for a while, sprouting is a great way to get nutrients towards the end of the period. Whole lentils, mung beans and seeds - start them before you run out of fresh veg and they will keep you going. Tasty dressed with lemon juice and olive oil, in a sandwich with Brie or peanut butter or as a side with noodle dishes.
