It looks like prepsploitation (I just made that word up and it is a bit rubbish Grin) but I like Robert Carlisle so there's that reason to watch it.
It'll be interesting to see what they do with an SHTF situation.

@bellinisurge I hadn't heard of it but just looked it up. Looks like it's worth a go, we like political dramas anyway and I do prep a bit in general too 😁 so cheers for the headsup.

I hadn’t heard of this and will try to catch it. Thanks bellini!

Of course.

I've watched most of this being a massive Robert C fan and a prepper.
It was ok as a drama but I had a few prepper questions like: how would a coronal mass ejection only affect some electrical things but not, say, mobile phones or TV or motor cars.
Was N Ireland ok?
Why would people be in camps by day 3. Well dressed, clean people at that.
What's with all the bloody candles artfully arranged in a hotel. Who, apart from mad preppers Grinhas loads of candles.
Stuff like that...

I haven't seen it yet but there were people in tv who had their toes (and other extremities) burned as a result of the War Game which tried to be accurate. (It was withdrawn from tv at the time for a variety of reasons which boiled down to 'Too frightening'.) Maybe the same applies here.

I hadn’t heard of it, looks really good and will definitely watch it!

I know it’s old, but best thing I’ve watched so far is still Blackout Britain 2013 documentary on YouTube. The American version of it is also very good.
