Hi all, have real concerns at the moment regarding relationships between USA and Iran. Watching the news and looks like this could get scary. Anyone else a bit worried?

I'm old and have seen this kind of willy waving before.
Doesn't mean there won't be more of it, just means I think it will blow over. Not before everyone's anxiety levels are ramped up and there are pockets of horrible here and there.

The world has got to the brink of nuclear war a couple of times and it has been pulled back.

There is nothing we can do about it anyway.

I can't help but wonder if there was a different result to the general election, i wouldn't have felt so vulnerable

I'd strongly recommend a deep breath @TheoriginalLEM . The world goes on regardless of our general election result. Focus on your home and what you can do to build resilience generally into your life.
I say this as a general prepper who is so well prepared she forgot her purse this morning and hadn't replaced her mini cash stash that she carries around in case she does dopey things like forget her purse. . Build up your "rolling with it" skills.

I've spent my adult life with such concerns. Keep smiling for any children around - there's nothing to be done, though.
