This isn't a Brexit related thread this is a general prepper thread:

The good people of New Zealand (and also Portland Oregan) have done some thinking so we don't have to.
It was the strategy followed after the Christchurch Earthquake which hit particularly an urban area.

We live very rurally, and our water pipes were accidently dug up and broken recently. Amazing how fast we suddenly realised what a big issue not being able to flush the toilet is!!!

Buckets - check. No handy material to sprinkle in at the moment, though. Back in the olden days of my childhood my grandparents had an outhouse, and used sawdust as the sprinkling material (probably because it was plentiful in a wood-heated household). I guess my best bet would be to buy a big bag of peaty stuff from a garden centre...
