I don't think we have anything really that would serve us well if it came to it and we needed to barter.

Alcohol, medicine and cigarettes

Also alcohol and cigs. Reusable sanitary towels - just a thought. Every teenage girl and woman needs menstrual products. Even if you aren't one you'll know one or meet one.

Alcohol for me as well. We have a very good stock of single malt whisky and other types of alcohol but don't actually drink much. I'm also considering getting in a few bottles of cheep vodka. Not so much for bartering purposes as for disinfecting things like jam jars and the like to make sure they keep.

I don't stock alcohol for personal reasons. I do have an excess of blue inhalers and strong painkillers, though...
