What would you prep in the case of a petrol shortage?

Like what is happening in France at the moment.

Ok, the obvious is making sure you always have petrol, but would you stockpile food etc. in case of delivery problems? i'm just wondering whether I should be planning abig food shop!

There is also a risk of power cuts, but I'm pretty prepped for that.

The big problem will be that no deliveries could be made and that the power might go out.

I think the key thing would be bottled water, plus non-perishable food you can eat with no cooking (tinned beans and rice pudding here).

Get a wind up charger for one mobile phone and consider having a wind up radio.

And even when there is no crisis looming, support your corner shops by using them, so you have an alternative that's not dependent on supermarket supply logistics (heavily dependent these days on frequent deliveries from hubs)

If you're already pretty prepared for power cuts, I would have thought that most bases would already be covered.
