How to help baby on oxygen with a cold

Hi everyone.
I am hoping for some advice about helping my LO with his cold. He is an ex micro preemie on home oxygen and is very congested (although reassuringly his sats are fine) and struggling to breathe through his nose.
We can’t use oil or paraffin based creams like vapour rub because of the fire risk with his oxygen so I am wondering what those of you who had babies on oxygen did when they were unwell.
He has his nebuliser, hot baths, saline solution and I keep him in the bathroom with me when I shower so the water vapour can clear his nose however he is struggling. It’s horrible seeing him work so hard to breathe.
I was also wondering whether anyone has used calpol vapour plug and whether it was safe for use with babies on oxygen?

My now 3 year old was on oxygen for 18 months due to being premature - I’d do all the things you done , would use a calpol plug in an hour before bed to scent the room but then I’d turn it off and unplug before he actually went in the bedroom.

if you have a bed that can elevate the head end that might help too to ease congestion.

My girls almost 3 and still uses oxygen. We were told it’s safe to use the calpol plug ins and we used little angels vapour bath too ☺️
