Baby rascal is making me so proud!

As most of you will know I've had a few traumas with baby rascal and been so worried about her weight and wondering/stressing about her development over the past few months.

Just wanted to say that today I'm feeling so proud of her and myself, because;

  1. She is babbling away like a 'real 4mth old'
  2. She can hold her head really steady - and according to the consultant at her follow up she is advanced with her head control - more like her actual rather than corrected age.
  3. We are still exclusively breast feeding and she is putting on weight really well - still small for almost 5mths (actual age) at about 7lb 11oz but weight gain no longer an issue!
  4. She is sleeping a little better and seems to be getting more independant - ie is able to amuse herself for 10-15 min!

Just wanted to share this as I still have 'bad' days when I worrry about everything and wanted to give others hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel it just takes time.

Glad to hear she is doing so well. I can't get over how old she is!

Good to hear you are both doing so well.

Well done to you and baby rascal

OMG had Babyrascal weighed today and she is now a whopping 9lb which means she has put on a massive 7.5oz this week! Not too bad for an exclusively breast fed baby that I was told needed formula to help her with weight gain
