Can I use a sling for a premature baby

Hello

  1. Can I use this sling for premature babies who weight 2kg?
  2. Is there a minimum weight/length a baby needs to have to go on a sling?
  3. If ok to use, what sling would you recommend for a premature baby?

Kind regards
NV

Baby needs to be 4kg for most slings.

My 12 week old preemie is currently 2kgs 😩 so I can't use mine yet!

Check the weight limit on the sling. I understand the frustration of not being able to use a sling. I felt like I couldn’t use anything I had purchased when my son came home

Check with your local sling library but I'd expect that a stretchy wrap, woven wrap or similar is fine from any weight as you have more options how you tie them so you can make sure the head is supported.

My baby wasn’t premature but was very small (5lb 6oz), I used a stretchy wrap until he was 4kg
