Baby coming home tomorrow

I gave birth on Friday. He was put on oxygen for 2 days but now he can breathe on his own.

My mum is supportive and I'll be living with her as I'm young but I'm still nervous

Congratulations! That's great that you have your Mum for support. What are you feeling nervous about?

My baby was 3 weeks early, and came home after about 5 days. The only real problem I had was that she was very sleepy and this didn't feed well or put her birth weight back on. This lasted for about 3 weeks until her due date after which she took off.
Use your mums experience to gauge whether she's feeding enough, I used to tell the midwife that she was having wet nappies as I'd change them and there'd be a bit of wee, it was only when I had my son 3 years later that I realised just how much she should have been producing!

That's wonderful news. It's so so hard coming home from hospital and not bringing your little one. It happened to me with DD2 and I was broken. It was wonderful bringing her home. She was still so tiny! Enjoy snuggling your little one. ❤️
