So I wonder if anyone can relate. My son was born at 34 weeks and is breast fed. He has always poo'd A LOT at every nappy change there would be a bit of yellow seed like poo in his nappy. All of a sudden 2 days ago he stopped having this and had not been for a poo in just over 48 hours. He is still feeding the same and got loads of wet nappies. And doesn't seem uncomfortable. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried? Xx

You don’t say how old he is but their poo does change as they get older. 10 days without pooing is fine for a solely breastfed baby if they don’t seem uncomfortable. Breastmilk is so perfectly calibrated to what your baby needs there may not be much waste to come out.

My son also born at 34 weeks. It's fine for them not to poo for a good few days when breastfed. I always found www.kellymom.com really helpful for any questions I had about breastfeeding, including poo- it's amazing how often that topic comes up when you have kids.
