Premature babies and feeding

Hi there I had preclamsipa and delivered at 35 weeks,little one was suppose to be girl turned out boyish my surprise. However he's going through 12 bottles a day and eating 4oz practically each time, I have done cooled water in between but lo still keeps rooting problem is he keeps getting constipated any advice anyone

That is every 3 hours totally normal you are basically demand feeding how old is he now? I can't comment on constipation my advice is so old you would gasp speak to your health visitor.

He's 1 month old now, or a or 4 days with actual due date. He's definitely thriving, he even burps himself half the time but on a night he's up constantly to the point of I go to sleep it's like for half an hour at a time. He also grunts during his feeds. I will do.

He's bottles fed as.midwives won't let me breastfeed after a day of been ill in hospital.

Does he maybe have reflux as well if he is up alot at night

Maybe he is settled when in his bouncer

How long has he been doing it? My DD born at 32+5 went through a stage at around that age of being constantly hungry and was putting on loads of weight. Health visitor said she was probably trying to catch up and it calmed down after 2-3 weeks.
My health visitor suggested we put her on hungry baby formula for a couple of feeds which helped but I would speak to health visitor before doing that.

Both mine were early 36&35 weeks dd 1 the heaviest drank like a bird dd2 scoffed 12/40z bottles a day till well past her due date then dropped a feed and i upped the Ounces but do speak to your hv about the constipation and uncomfiness
