My baby wasn't born prematurely, but he has been in NICU since Saturday. I hope it's ok to post here.
I want to get something for the NICU staff who have looked after us so well, but I'm clueless as to what would be appropriate. I presume edibles wouldn't be a good idea, but what else might be welcomed and able to be shared between everyone? He's been in two different nurseries and looked after by so many different members of staff, individual things would be impossible.
Thank you for any input you can offer.
Baby is being discharged from NICU today, and is doing so much better than when he was born Smile

Many congratulations on your baby, hope you're settling in well and now home.

My babies all spent time in NICU and even now, 8 years on, if I have to go to the hospital for any reason I take them in a box of biscuits. Or a tray of cakes. Tins of sweets is another good present.

When my DS was discharged I took in a hamper of goodies for their staff room. Tea, coffee, squashes, biscuits, cakes, cheese straws. I really think anything would be much appreciated

When we did it edibles were definitely most appreciated. If you're not sure you could ask someone on the admin side maybe?

Our local scbu has an Amazon wish list for items they would benefit from - range from books/toys to occupy siblings, llong life milk and snacks for the parents room etc
