Hi ladies,
Spent almost the whole day in A and E - on crutches and a bit miserable. Hope your week started better than mine!
MMama - how's your little one? Any better?
Watching the Oscars as cannot sleep.

SPD is sensory processing disorder, they say it's way too early to diagnose him with anything else (i.e autism, asphagars).

My DC's teeth came in quick succession and I'm glad, couldn't do with months and months of it! Haha.

I should of figered that out really as you said about baby massage and sensory room ,

I found massaging my son's limbs really helped him. Due to being in hospital for so long, he went mental if anyone took off his clothes as he was so scarred by being jabbed all the time for various things. I did the massage to help him learn that touch doesn't have to come with pain and it can be nice. I used to take one limb out of his babygro at a time so as to reduce his stress. Now he'll happily have his legs out and kicking about.

Yeah, we're being taught massage, so far we've found little things that ease him and give him little stress so we try to focus on those.

He's on two medicaions (one heart & one for lung) that need to be given by injection daily so he screams whenever his thigh is grabbed :(

My little one used to be like that about her feet as that we're covered in scratches from daily tests.
The sun is shining, had morning in the park - now playing Mr Potato Head. How's all your weekends?

Today I am looking after my nephews who are 4 & 3. Today, is a mad house so I've shoved them all outside and I am relaxing on the porch with Artie & Halo while the DC torment the dpg . Tomorrow is spent and the In laws... this should be fun.

Urgh, I still have tired brain.

Ha ha, I'm mega tired too - for some reason all my worries swirled around my head at around 2am to 4am. Think myself and hubbie are turning into old people as we went to bed at 8pm last night and I feel like doing it again!
