Hi all,
Apologies for another recent thread from myself on the topic. I posted early this morning but didn’t get any replies.

Basically last week I found out I was pregnant (3w6) after taking the morning after pill the morning after intercourse (condom broke). I’d also been taking the Yasmin pill for few days prior to the intercourse.

I had my bpas consultation and received the pills on Friday. Unfortunately due to my circumstances (single mum to young dc, very tight on money, tiny flat, literally the first time I’d slept with this man) I couldn’t go through with the pregnancy.

After getting very upset I took the first pill on Friday. Last night, I inserted the 4 pessaries. I expected heavy cramps but fell asleep almost instantly.

Woke up at midnight and a few drops of blood and very mild cramps. Inserted the other 2 pessaries and fell back to sleep,

There was blood this morning but no where near as much as my period. About 2 very small clots. Cramps are also very mild and stopped by this morning. Tonight there is hardly any blood and only when I wipe or go for a wee.

I’ve also been feeling feverish and shivery. I have felt like this before taking any of the pills but tonight it seems worse. I’ve also woken up with a very sore throat and headache.

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this with a very early termination? My friend had one at 6 weeks and said it was agony. I do have adenemyosis so my periods are very painful. I’m not sure if the lack of pain might be due to what I’m used to.

Any advice greatly appreciated. Plan on calling bpas in the morning.

Hi I’m just reading this now so hopefully it isn’t late to give you this advice. I’d get checked out by GP or hospital to be on the safe side, especially with feeling feverish and shivering. I’d be worried in case this was a sign of infection.
