Hello, i'm in my second year of university studying educational and developmental psychology and have just discovered that I am now 6 weeks pregnant, I currently live in a house share with 4 other girls who I am not friendly with but I have booked myself a 1 bedroom flat for next academic year, my partner is Swiss and lives and works in Switzerland.
Im due to have the baby around October this year but am very concerned about how I will manage, my partner would like me to move to Switzerland with him as there is a lot more opportunity over there and he has the potential to earn a lot more than me (and is currently earning a lot more than me). He also lives very close to his whole family, but of course I will need to finish my studies.
Im 22 and have taken a few years out of education already and so do not want to take any more time out, also I feel as though it would be best to get my degree as possible so when the baby is born, i can start job hunting asap.
Im worried about the possibility of not being able to do distance learning and complete my course in Switzerland and if I have to stay in England, im also worried about being left alone (my family live around 3 hours away from me) with a young baby and having to study and look after them simultaneously. My partner would be able to join me for a little while but ultimately he would need to go back to work.
There is a lot to think about and its definitely not the best situation, i was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about what to do? any advice? any anything lol 😅
