Inserted the 4 misoprostol tablets midday on Tuesday. Would've been just over 5 weeks by LMP.
Started bleeding with cramps and small clots fairly quickly. Started to taper off the next day and bled steadily until yesterday (Saturday) when I started bleeding heavily again. Thought I'd done too much, rested and it lightened again.
Woke up at 4:45am, stood up and blood gushed everywhere, toilet bowl was bright red, pj bottoms and pants were covered .... stringy clots but nothing sizeable.
Very concerned, upset and panicked so I rang BPAS who said to just monitor at home.
Have changed pad since and had a clot drop into the toilet since with bleeding that turned the water red again.
I just don't feel that this is normal, pain is minimal but trying to juggle this with work and kids is turning into a bit of a nightmare. It's my youngest's birthday on Wednesday too.
It's basically not what they consider overly heavy bleeding as I've not filled 2 maxi pads in an hour for 2 hours consecutively but I still feel it's abnormal and just want this over with 😢
