Stories of struggling but turned out ok

Hello, please can I have some good stories where people struggled after having a termination but then got there in the end mentally to a good place and moved forward? I am currently trying to move forward and could really do with some happy stories to listen to.

Hey, I'm so glad you posted and reached out for stories! So I had a termination last year after lots of back and forth in my decision process, I really wanted my baby but I knew it wasn't the best decision for me to add another child to my family. I already have 4 with my partner. It was a difficult decision but I feel it was the right one. I had one wobbly episode about a week after my termination, where I totally broke down, but with the support of my partner who was the only one who knew, I pulled myself out of it although I did have to heavily rely on my medication as well (Sertraline) which I take long-term for poor mental health. Really try and focus on yourself, do things to make you feel good, make a plan for your future, plan a trip or holiday if you can and remind yourself you only did what you felt was right and that can never be wrong.
