Has anyone given birth at the RVI, QE Gateshead, UHND, or Sunderland Royal in the past few months and would recommend? (Recent experiences ideal!) I'm newly pregnant and debating where to register. I was at QE Gateshead for my previous pregnancy last year, which ended early in miscarriage, and didn't have a good experience there, but also possibly open to giving them another chance. Where you had your baby, were the staff competent, compassionate, etc.? Most importantly, did you feel in safe hands? Those four hospitals are the only ones reasonably close to me that I'm aware of.
