Urgent - termination and next of kin

I am having a termination under GA today. I don’t want to do it but am under extreme pressure from ‘D’H and have no other choice. Please don’t try to persuade me, I am completely devastated it has come to this.

Legally he is my next of kin but I am going alone and want to list someone else (my sister probably). Can I do this or will it default to DH?

No one else knows about today, I guess I should tell dsis in case something goes wrong.

I don’t think there’s any reason why they wouldn’t let you change your next of kin, they won’t phone your husband without your permission. I’d definitely pick up the phone to your sister first though so that she’s aware, also for the emotional support as well. So sad for you that you’re in this position. Thinking of you.
