I hope it’s okay to ask on here. For those who have had a medical abortion in the past how did it go? Did it go as smoothly as it could or were there any complications? I have one this week and I’m so upset about it all and worried. Please no judgement just advice from others who have went through this themselves. Thank you 🙏🏼

I am having one this weekend too. Doing the pills! I’m just so nervous it’s not going to work? I’m going to be just over 5 weeks

I had one 3 weeks ago, it was painful but only for the first few hours after taking the second lot of tablets and bleeding was manageable throughout.

I assumed all had gone well but bleeding didn't settle down, aftercare were fab & sent me for a scan which showed some retained tissue so now waiting for a rescan with possible surgery.

The actual abortion was definitely not as horrific as I was expecting, not sure if I was lucky or because it was early on.

Hope you're ok, here if you need. It's such a lonely time.
