6 years ago, I made the most difficult decision of my life - to pursue my dream of motherhood, despite my circumstances. I was 48 and single. My dream came true just 2 months before my 50th birthday when my daughter was born! My TEDx Talk "The road less travelled to motherhood" covers it all! My talk will help dispel the silence, shame and stigma that exists around fertility choices, "older" motherhood, IVF including donor conception, and childlessness (by choice or not).
