Pregnant and have a newborn

I'm looking for advice, I've just had a baby (they are 7 weeks old) and I've just found out I am pregnant again (faint pink line on the pregnancy test so planning on taking another).

My partner doesn't want another child yet and I can understand why but I'm not sure I can get rid of it (no judgement if people have- your body your choice). I'm looking for advice and experiences from people that have had children this close together.

I appreciate its not ideal but I think its thinking whether you would find it easier to go through the termination process or coping with two close in age. So I got myself worked up and chose the termination and realised in the aftermath that coping with the baby would have been easier than the afermath of the termination. so both are hard but its which you feel you can cope with more. also i know its going to be hard but in some ways having them so close together means that in some ways it will be like twins and they wont be as little and as intense for so long. your partner will be thinking of the practicalities rather than emotional implications so it will seem a more simpler choice for them. it is worth accessing counselling to help you explore your feelings and make the decision you feel most comfortable with. also its useful to remember that almost half of pregnancies are unplanned so lots of people may not have the age gap they intended x

Have you had an counselling? I had free counselling from Choices charity and it really helped me feel clearer about how I felt (keeping the baby) they help you talk through all your worries and concerns
