Stoke Mandeville or Wexham for Maternity Care

Dear All,
I am pregnant with DC2 and have narrowed my choices down to between Wexham Park and Stoke Mandeville (other options are Watford, Wycombe) and I annoyingly live 20-25 minutes between all of these! I had DC1 in London so do not know the hospitals here at all. Wexham Park is a bit closer to my house, but I read mixed reviews about it, although they are quite old. I would describe myself as nervous / asks a lot of questions incase that is relevant

Any recent experiences? Recommendations?
Many thanks!

I had both my children at Stoke Mandeville. My second one a year ago. Both times, labour ward and birth center is good but the post natal is so short staffed. My experience was ok, as I had no complications, but I never saw a Dr the whole stay. Midwife in Labour was lovely, and they have nice equipment in the birth center. I only had 12 hours in postnatal and I had to come back for the newborn check another day. Other mums had some horrible experiences, eg, admin error meaning baby had antibiotics when they didn't need it. Cqc has just rated it requires improvement for safety. Post natal ward was also very hot in the summer
