20 weeks and wanting to terminate due to mental health

I don't have any support network and wondering how traumatic a 20 week termination is? I've got mental health issues.

Call your GP and get an appointment. Do you have a midwife? Mental health crisis team?

I aborted a planned pregnancy because of my mental health. I regretted it desperately immediately afterwards. It was easier to get an abortion than acute mental health support. I was sick because of the pregnancy hormones. I knew I was sick but couldn't get help fast enough. Please do whatever you can because an abortion won't make you feel better.

Thank you. I have called them.
No one is telling me that "you'll be fine, keep it". That's the annoying part. Some times you just want reassurance....

You'll be fine, keep it. I'm offering you reassurance. If your mental health is the problem an abortion isn't the answer. Get help for your mh for you and your baby. An abortion won't fix your mental health.

It's not about fixing it but does a child need to have a mother with mental health

I'm pro choice 100 percent but this is going to be hard, I'd say keep the baby and work on your mental health when they are born. The support is out there you just need to push for it. I had a late term termination and it was the hardest thing I've ever been through, I was suicidal afterwards.
