No clots after medical abortion- is it not working?

Some of you may have seen my thread last night before taking the second tablets for my medical abortion and how frightened I was.

I took these 4 tablets at 2:15am then the second 2 at 5:30am. I've had bleeding which I can describe as first/second day of period kind of bleeding, a continuous flow especially when on the toilet, but I haven't passed any clots or anything, it's simply liquid blood. Every post I've read seems to have mentioned seeing something in the toilet/feeling a clot pass which they knew to be the pregnancy. Does this mean that the pills haven't worked?

I've also not had any cramping as such, more just the general period ache that's dull and heavy, radiating into my lower back too. The consultant told me over the phone it should have passed within 6 hours so I'm way past this now.

Any advice would be so helpful.

I'm 5weeks+1 since my last period if that helps.

Hi can I ask what happened for you as I am in the exact same situation now or if anyone knows if this is normal, I am 6+3 and light bleeding no clots but I do have period pain aches.

Id like to know what happened with you two …

@wendyGee I am the OP (name change). After I posted this I did pass a clot that was clearly the pregnancy, I think was about 36 hours after taking the second tablet.

Thank you for answering was the clot big ? And how many days did you bleed … i passed small clots and bleed period like

@wendyGee I'd say about a 20p piece, it wasn't massive at all- I'd say I bled for about 7 days in total!

is it normal to pass the pregnancy a few days later because i had my MA on saturday and on Monday i felt a big glooop leave my body and when i checked my pad there was about a 7cm length clot and thick i was scared to look too closely but it was hard when i touched it
