I had a medical at home abortion by BPAS. It’s been 7 days and the pain is still excruciating, I can hardly walk and nothing is calming the pain. Is this something I should be concerned about?

please no judgment I am already suffering greatly with my mental health!

No judgement at all OP. Yes I think that level of pain so much later is concerning and you should get medical attention ASAP. Maybe ring 111 see what they suggest? I hope you're OK. Are you on your own?

Please go to a and e immediately.

I’m doing okay just have a bit of guilt, and I’m going through this all alone, with no one to turn too as all my family are very pro life. I’d like to avoid the hospital at all costs as I’d have to ask someone to watch my daughter and that would mean explaining my situation. Maybe I’ll phone the aftercare team and see what they say, i just didn’t want to phone them and waste their time.

You would not be wasting anyone's time OP. And that's what they're there for.
Sorry your family are unsupportive.

Medical abortion fear www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy_choices/4566489-medical-abortion-fear

Can you post on here too? These lovely ladies are very supportive.

Absolutely get checked, if nothing else they may be able to get you better pain relief. If you need someone to look after your daughter just be vague about stomach problems or gynaecology problems, you don't have to mention the abortion to friends or family.

Could be retained tissue, I had the same and the pain was horrendous for weeks after. It passed on its own, but I had an awful infection which I didn't know about

A bit tmi but last night I was in absolute agony, for about an hour and then I passed quite a large clot, I phoned 111 and they said to keep an eye on it and if the bleeding became heavy to go to a and e, the bleeding was not heavy, but I was still in pain. All day today I haven’t been in any pain at all. so I think it was retained tissue which passed on its own. Hopefully the pain has come to an end for me now🤞🏻

Fingers crossed I hope so and I hope you feel much better soon x

Sounds better. But don't delay if you need help in future.
