Hi

I had a medical termination 12 weeks ago and have had no bleeding/period since. My bleeding during the termination last about 4 days then I have had nothing since. Negative pregnancy tests. I have had some cramps on and off over the last 2 weeks but still nothing.

I can't get through to msi aftercare and have spoken to 2 GPs who just say wait it out but don't give any indication of how long.

Has anyone experienced this. Is this normal. The aftercare info says 8 weeks max but normal is 6 weeks after.

I'm worried but don't feel listened to.

Thanks

Did you start any contraception at time of termination ?
Progesterone only methods may be what is preventing the period pill, depo, implant
If not, please give aftercare another call
Ask them for post treatment check , tell them you are concerned and need support
If no joy ask for a telephone consultation with your GP , explain what has happened and ask for advice
Is there any chance you could have fallen pregnant again?
Hope all ok
