I'm max 8 weeks, I'm going to the doctors tomorrow to ask for a termination but I'm so lost on what to expect.
I'm anxious as I'm very squeamish, blood terrifies me. I'm worried I've left it too long and my procedure will be traumatic or painful. I know nothing about the timescales for abortion procedures. I'm hoping I'll be able to go through with it at home, but even then I'm worried something will go wrong.

What should I expect from the appointment (questions, tests etc) and what should I expect for the procedure?

I cant comment on what the doctor will ask as I went straight to marie stopes. But they initially asked about my medical history and the reasons for the abortion. Then I had a pre assessment which included a pin prick blood test and a scan to see how far I was and some more questions. Then my next appointment was the procedure, I went for a surgical. I know you mentioned you are hoping for pills at home but if you do need a surgical I found it a very positive experience ( as much as it can be of course) xx
