Hi all. So I decided to go through with the medical abortion. About 8 hours ago I took the first pill and have been feeling nauseated since. Just now I have started feeling mild cramping pains. Of course it doesn't help that I am feeling guilty about the decision. Help. Sad

I did a termination at the weekend and went through lots of different feelings. After the first pill I also had mild cramping. I did the 4 pills 24 hours later and bled a few hours after that. I was in more pain then but made sure I took 4 codeine, paracetamol and ibruprofen every 4 hours and this numbed a lot. Without this I don't think I'd have coped very well. Once I passed the pregnancy around 12 hours later (which was a bizarre moment it just kind of fell out very quickly into the toilet) my feelings of guilt seemed to go and now I feel good again. I am still bleeding now but it's quite watery. Hope you are okay and feel free to message me during this time I'm here for you

@charlie2138 thank you. I wish I'd feel better soon too. I thought the 4 pills were the ones to make me feel sick not this one. Don't know how Id manage with the pain as I have never and don't like takinf anything, haven't had paracetamol in years but I guess I'd be needing some in the days to come. I hope I come through this for my children's sakes. 😌 Thank you again for taking the time to respond.

How did you get on ? X

@charlie2138 just noticed I'm already having a small brownish bleeding. Sorry TMI. Not in pain or anything, been nauseous all day, cried heaps in the shower earlier. I haven't taken my 4 pills yet as I was instructed by the doctor to do it 48 hrs after the first pill.

How are you getting on now?

I took mine 24 hours after and it worked fine, so you probably don't need to wait 48 hours as you're only making things last longer. I was advised between 24-48. I'm okay I'm still bleeding and changed pads around 4-5 times a day but I don't have any pain. The pain finished as soon as I passed the pregnancy. The sad feeling also left them too so hopefully you will feel a lot better soon. xxx

@charlie2138 I'm glad you're feeling better and things went smoothly (so to speak) for you. I swallowed my 4 tablets abt 30 min ago and I have started bleeding and having moderate to severe cramps. Im feeling cold atm too. I was planning on doing some chores while the kids were out but I'm just laying here in bed waiying for things to pass. I hope things finish before the kids come home later and maybe I would also feel a bit lighter. Thanks so much.

Hi. Thank you. Feeling better now. Passed clots yesterday felt waves of pain here and there. Took 1 diclofenac and then I was sorta okay. Still bleeding but I have more energy now and surprisingly at peace with my decision. Though I know I will think about it every now and then. Thank you so much. This forum has helped me so much during my ordeal.
