Have just passed large clot? 5 weeks after medical abortion, help?

So I had what I thought was a successful medical abortion 5 weeks ago, seemed to go as expected and when I took the pregnancy test 2 weeks later as advised it came back negative.
The bleeding stopped around 3 weeks ago but two days ago I started with some light bleeding, I thought perhaps it was the start of a period. However today I have been out with the children at a theme park so quite active, running around after toddler and lots of rides and suddenly started to get cramps, again I thought period so took some paracetamol and carried on but when I've gone to the loo I've discovered quite a large clot/ thing in my sanitary towel, it's probably 6cm in length and a rubbery consistancy so pretty substantial and grim.
We are away at a caravan at the moment so can't get into the doctors for a few days, I'm just wondering if anyone has had similar and can reassure me this is normal/ not a problem?
I'm worried that perhaps it's incomplete and I may need to take some action urgently?
I have taken a picture but have since thought it would be tmi/ inappropriate to post.
Thanks for reading.

This exact same thing happened to me. About a month or so after I had a medical, I passed a huge clot of the same description as you’ve described it.
I think it’s just your body getting the remaining bits out. I had no complications at all after passing my clot.

If you are worried though, could you ring Marie Stopes/BPAS or whoever you went through? They usually have nurses on the phone to answer questions and help you.

@funinthesun19 thank you for the reply, that is reassuring. I'm surprised that this has happened so long after the event. That's a good idea, I'll call Bpas in the morning and hopefully they will be able to advise. Did you also get a negative test after the two week period?

It actually took about 8 weeks for me to get a fully negative test. It can take a while for the hormone levels to go back to normal, so I wouldn’t worry if your test is still showing up as positive. It’s completely normal.

This also happened to me, I had no idea what it was and didn't seek medical help.
I just assumed that I didn't fully "clear out" and it was the remains of the pregnancy.
