Hi all
Looking for some advice or stories you can all share!

I am currently 16 weeks pregnant with my first baby which me and my husband have been really excited over.

At our 12 week scan they found we had a higher NT fluid behind babies neck which was 3.8mm (cut off 3.5mm). They sent us for a CVS and full microarray. We had very high odds from bloods but our tests came back all clear!!

Now we are in the dreaded wait for my next scan on Tuesday with a specialist to check if baby is developing and to see if there are in fact any problems or we are having a healthy baby.

I am still struggling to come to terms and enjoy my pregnancy as I know it could still end. Could anyone shed some light on the type of things they may find on my next scan? Thank you! X

Your tests are clear for chromosome issues including micro deletions/duplication.

Your NT was slightly over..it wasnt 6 mm.

So chances are high for no issues.

You can look on future scans for any physical anomalies.

There are of course very rare conditions outside the chromosome testing but they are very rare. You have ruled out many with the Cvs.

If you don't see any physical issues on future scans heart organs brain etc then you have high chance of no issues. 99%? But no one can give you 100% guarantee.

If there are issues on scans then discuss with foetal medicine unit about implications.

One step at a time.

It depends whether you take it as "what will be will be " or want to make early decisions about tfmr. But right now all is 99.99% good from cvs.

How are things going @Cocomambo123?

@bornninthe80s hey! Thanks for asking! We sadly lost our baby at 22 weeks to a severe anomaly. But currently 10 weeks pregnant again with our rainbow. Hoping for a positive outcome! x
