How soon can you get sterilised after giving birth?

I’m due baby number 2 and I don’t want any more

Will they sterilise next if I request soon after birth?

My friend had a c section and was sterilised then. However she thinks it has bought on the peri menopause. Be sure it's what you want.

Some people find it difficult to get sterilised on the NHS if they're still relatively young. I think they tend to say no in case you change your mind.
