How long would a medical termination take to organise?

If I went to the doctor today, when would I be taking the tablets on average?

I went via directly to either Marie Stopes or BPAS, can't remember now, phoned them up and had an appointment within four days. When I was there I could have taken the first pill that day and come back for the second a few days later; or have a vacuum procedure there and then.
