Does it matter that my test lines are quite faint?

I tested positive on Wednesday which was my period due date, quite a faint line but that was fine.

I tested again today (just out of interest) and I think the line looks even more faint.

Should I be concerned that the line isn't as strong? Or is it nothing to worry about?

Early on it can depend on what time you test, how much fluid you've drank, but without being a harbinger of doom the only time I had light tests was when I had my early miscarriage. I hope that's not the case and you just very hydrated (I've been pregnant 4 times- first was a missed miscarriage- heartbeat them baby died at 15 weeks, then a live birth, early miscarriage then another live birth). Hope all goes well-sending positive, keep me updated!
There's a miscarriage thread that may be able to give you advice, I just saw this as I have a friend who's contemplating a termination and not really sure what to say!

Try not to worry too much! External factors can have an influence on the strength of the line - how much you've had to drink, what time of day you test etc
Both tests look positive to me wait a few more days if you're not sure, and try again with a pink dye test, and hopefully you'll get a nice strong line.

Thanks both, I actually tried again this afternoon with a FRER and had a very bright pink line, it was even stronger than the control line so that's put my mind at rest a little (for today anyway!)

Yay!! Pink tests are much better than blue. I think you can be feeling more confident now. Try and relax (easier said than done!!) Have a happy pregnancy.😀

So tired now . Tomorrow i will have another test . Do see the other line or is only me seeing that?? 😩
