Appointment with Gp tomorrow morning - what can I expect re- timings?

Separated from husband and have since found out that I am pregnant.

Obviously not a great time. I am effectively sofa surfing and waiting on starting a new job involving long hours and long commute.

I only found out on Saturday evening and managed to book an appointment with the gp for Monday morning.

What can I expect the process to be?

I have a wedding to go to this weekend far away from home from fri-sun.

And I have a feeling the job offer coming through would like an immediate start from me.

Will either of these be possible with a termination being booked?

Thank you all for your help and support and kind words.

My friend took me in early on Wednesday morning.

It was a relatively traumatic experience being surrounded by many others, some of which were angry or hysterical.

I was relatively calm throughout the process. There was a few tears, but only down to being scared of the unknown as I had never had a general anasthetic before.

My waters broke about half an hour before I went down for the procedure which freaked me out as I wasn't expecting it.

My friend stayed with me the whole time and kept a smile on my face.
And took me home and kept me company and fed throughout the evening and took me out for a nice day the next day too.
It really took my mind off things and I felt happy and more myself than I have been in a long time.

I feel better.
I feel lighter.
I feel like I can breathe easier and that I have more energy too.

I also got offered a very good job this morning. So things are looking up overall.

I am now back home (at my parents) and looking forward to getting myself sorted, being healthier. I can't wait until I can go swimming again!
