Faint positive 2 weeks after medical abortion

I took the test BPAS gave me today and there was a faint positive result. BPAS say I need a follow up appointment. I can't get an appointment this week and we are going away on Friday. Would I know if I had retained products? I felt a lot of clots pass and my very strong pregnancy symptoms disappeared the day after the abortion was completed. I took this as a strong indicator that it had worked. I Feel well. Could the positive be a result of hormones having not completely left my body? I will of course go to a follow up appointment, but will it hurt to wait until we get back from holiday?

Oh no. What did they do about it? I've got an appointment on Saturday for a scan.

Gave me abs.
They didn't work and I passed foetal tissue some weeks later. It wasn't much fun tbh.
I had a scan and they said they couldn't see anything.

Poor you, did you feel very unwell? I'm feeling fine at the moment. Desperately hoping my hormones are just taking a while to settle down.

I had this. I had retained products. Don't want to scare you but I felt fine then suddenly was passing clots the size of my fist. I had to have an emergency d and c and a transfusion

Oh goodness. Well I guess the scan on Saturday will tell all, then we are going on holiday on Sunday. I honestly cannot have anything go straightforward. There is always some kind of complication. I just know there will be retained products and something bad will happen on holiday.

Update in case anyone wants to know. But mainly I just need to write it down.

I had a scan last Saturday which showed retained tissue. I was given half a dose of misoprostol to take home with me and take when I wanted, which I did yesterday on returning from holiday. Nothing has happened. It's been nearly 15 hours since taking the tablets and I've felt unwell but no bleeding or cramping. I guess I will have to have a d & c which I really wanted to avoid.
