Many congratulations. I would suggest going to the TAMBA site as I found them very helpful. They also hold classes for twin births. I know your dd is still young but you may find it helpful as there will be a lot more to juggle. Just like singletons, every twin experience is different and depends on your family situation. It really tested our relationship. We have no family nearby and our dds were born prematurely. It was all hands on deck. Take whatever help you can get and just take one day at a time. My advice would be to take all the help that is offered, try to get help even if it puts some financial strain on the family such as a cleaner or someone to cook or someone to help take your older child out etc. Homestart in your area may be worth it. I had a student NVQ come in once a week and then paid her for a couple of hours on another day. Your other half will be tired as you will struggle to do it on your own, but just know that this too will change. Keep communication open....

Hi I have been in your shoes. My dd was 8 weeks old when I found out I was pregnant with twins. There is only 11 month between them.

Let the news sink in its scary and I would be lying if I said I didn't have thoughts of abortion.

My husband and I both decided we could do it and we did. Hard work but amazing hth
