Blood streaked mucus at 18 weeks

Am 18 weeks pregnant and last night and this morning I've had loads of egg white type mucus with blood streaks - am terrified.

ANyone any ideas? Sitting waiting to ring the mw at 9 but it feela na age away....

Try not to worry too much, I have had the same thing on and off since 16 weeks, am now 19 weeks. I have had lots of discharge since becoming pg. I went to EPU, and had internal and they listened to hb, but they don't scan for this type of thing. They said nothing to worry about, a vascular area, blah blah, although you might have an infection. I didn't but a tiny bit of thrush apparently, which can also cause this, so I am going to doctors to sort that out.

Have you not been having much discharge throughout the pregnancy?

Thanks for replies - went into antenatal day unit, my cervix was open, mucus was the plug going, waters went and had the baby 24 hours later. Got back from hospital last night, utterly distraught.
