Maternity Leave started - what to do with myself?!

Well it is my first day of maternity leave (as it is for Marina I think - hope you are enjoying yourself so far Marina!). I spent an hour or so yesterday sorting out baby clothes - all present and correct - and have done a bit supermarket shop and now I've hit a blank. Not due for 8 weeks yet, but shouldn't I have a big list of things to do which I should be getting out of the way earlier rather than later? Anyone have any suggestions?!
Feeling a bit useless...

nice idea katherine, but not really me I'm afraid... I'm not very green when it comes to post-birth bleeding! In fact I'm so ungreen that I don't even do my own washing and I think it might be beyond the job description to get the housekeeper to deal with them...!! but glad your dh has entered into the green spirit so wholeheartedly, I know mine wouldn't!

LOL at the idea of your dh katherine. I've been told to pack a bag for the baby for the holiday so have been watching the "what to pack" thread carefully because I can't remember what on earth is supposed to go in there. PPH - at least if I have a bag packed I will still feel that I have some hope of a home birth IYSWIM! Besides don't know what your dh is like but at least I will have somewhere to direct dh easily .

i know, I should pack one, shouldn't I? tempting fate not to, and then I'll end up in hospital with nothing useful except what dh has thrown into a bag. which in his case will probably be 4 packets of hula hoops, a minidisc player, a pair of socks and a can of diet coke. or something!
