I can smell burnt toast but no one has made toast

I keep smelling burnt toast but no one has made toast in my house today. I read online this can be sign of impending seizure and am now worried! Any thoughts?

I smell that but only at work which is bizzare as no toasters allowed due to health and safety - first time i got on my high horse and paced the corridors looking for the culprit but found none!

I said the same thing the other night, when running the laptop. Do you smell it around computers? Could just be the pregnancy super sense of smell that is smelling electronics running.

I had a similar weird experience a few weeks ago and no I am definitely not pregnant either to excuse it.

Quite late in the evening, I smelt what appeared to be some baking, you know, cakes or biscuits. Yet no-one was cooking. The smell was so strong, I assumed ds1 was making some toast (although the smell wasn't really of toast) and I went into the kitchen to see what he was doing. He wasn't doing anything.

It was really weird. Once since, very briefly, I thought I smelt baking again, but didn't bother investigating as I knew no-one was cooking.

I was wondering about ghosts (which I don't believe in). I am a bit more alarmed to read about impending seizures.

For the last few months (not pregnancy related as I'm only 5 weeks!), every now and then I've randomly smelled cigarette smoke where there has definitely been none. I've read that

a) it's ghosts
b) it's because I'm brain damaged
c) it's a sinus infection (or the aftereffects)

I don't believe in ghosts, I'm pretty sure I'm not brain damaged, and I've never had a sinus infection. So I have no idea!

it could be your sinuses. I have not had a stuffy nose, but I get sinus headaches now and again, and sometimes this also causes a weird smell, which actually I could say was a bit like burnt toast...

I'm keep smelling toast every morning when I wake up I keep asking everyone if they are making toast and noone has made any can anyone please tell me why thk u xx

I can taste burnt toast!! Its horrible!

I had the same thing last night butts in bed and woke up with the smell in the room my partner and daughter were both fast asleep but all I could smell was toast I was bit freaked went down and checked the toaster but no smell just in the bedroom!!

I keep smelling coffee in the air when there's none around. Weird eh?
